The Office strengthens international cooperation in the field of science communication

Yesterday, representatives of the Office – analyst Dr. Eglė Ozolinčiūtė and Senior Public Relations Specialist Gabrielė Dambrauskaitė – participated in a meeting of the international COALESCE project. The meeting marked an important step in reinforcing cooperation in the areas of science communication and academic ethics.

The participants discussed crisis communication guidelines, collaboration opportunities, and the dissemination of best practices. Project partners were invited to join new initiatives and co-create innovative solutions with other institutions.

The Office was also invited to take part in the Mutual Learning Exercise meeting in Madrid this September, where national policies and practices related to science communication and ethics will be analyzed.

The COALESCE team presented upcoming activities, including research on public trust in science, efforts to strengthen resilience against misinformation, and the evaluation of science communication effectiveness.

Step by step, we are moving toward a science that not only generates knowledge but also builds meaningful connections with society.
