Election of the Office’s Staff Trustee took place on 10 April 2024. After the voting and counting of the votes cast by the eligible employees of the Office, the results of the election were announced and Dr Birutė Liekė was elected as the Office’s Staff Trustee for a three-year term.
Dr Andrius Puksas, Chairman of the Office’s Staff Trustee Election Commission, stated that the election, which was contested by two candidates, went smoothly. When the ballot box was opened, no invalid or spoilt ballot papers were found. 100% of those eligible to vote turned out to cast their votes.
The new Staff Trustee will take up her duties as from the publication of this news.
