Average monthly gross salary (before taxes, Eur) of the employees of the Office of the Ombudsperson for Academic Ethics and Procedures of the Republic of Lithuania

* The average monthly salary of the employee, who is the only one to perform certain functions in the institution, can be announced only upon receipt of his/her consent (Resolution No 480 of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania of 18 April 2003 “On approval of the description of general requirements for websites of the State and municipal institutions and authorities”). If the consent is not received, no data on the salary shall be made public.

According to the provisions of the Law on Public Service of the Republic of Lithuania, the salary of the civil servant shall be formed from a salary, bonuses, an allowance for the length of service in the service of the State of Lithuania (except for Heads of Institutions), and a remuneration for working on days of rest and holidays, night work, overtime, and on-call work.

For a civil servant, the length-of-service increment shall be 1 perc. of the official salary for each year of service to the Lithuanian State.

The amount of the supplement granted to a civil servant may not exceed 80 perc. of the official salary. The amount of the increment for length of service in the service of the State of Lithuania may not exceed 20 perc. of the official salary.

Pursuant to the provisions of the Law on Remuneration of Employees and Members of Commissions of State and Municipal Institutions of the Republic of Lithuania, the remuneration of an employee working under a contract of employment shall comprise the official salary, supplements, a cash bonus for work paid in accordance with the labor law norms or the remuneration system applied at the employer’s place of work, remuneration for work on rest days and public holidays, night work, overtime work or work in abnormal working conditions, on-call time, and a variable part of salary if it is provided in the remuneration system.
