The Ombudsperson has been appointed to represent Lithuania in ETINED

The ombudsperson for academic ethics and procedures Loreta Tauginienė became a member of the Council of Europe Platform for Ethics, Transparency and Integrity in Education (ETINED). Senior specialist (senior analyst) Eglė Ozolinčiūtė has been appointed as her deputy.

The ETINED is a network of specialists appointed by member states of the Council of Europe. The mission of the platform is to share information and good practices in the field of transparency and integrity in education, to contribute to the development of adequate answers to challenges that corruption poses to the sector of education and higher education, to create a virtuous cycle in education, whereby all actors commit to fundamental positive ethical principles.

Until now, Lithuania has been presented in ETINED by Ieva Vaiciukevičienė, the Head of Legal and General Affairs Division of the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education, who will continue to hold this position.
