Spring meeting with representatives of research and higher education institutions

During the meeting held on Friday with representatives of research and higher education institutions, key issues related to ethical science communication and the assessment of research ethics compliance were discussed.

During the meeting, Dr. Reda Cimmperman presented the Guidelines for Science Communication in Line with Academic Ethics, which aim to ensure responsible, transparent, and publicly accessible science communication. The guidelines are available here:

A discussion was also held, led by Dr. Eglė Ozolinčiūtė, on the Guidelines for the Assessment of Compliance with Research Ethics. The discussion introduced collected feedback and addressed directions for further improvement of the guidelines, taking into account the insights of the research community.

The COALESCE platform was also presented, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing in the field of science communication.

The meeting attracted significant interest, with nearly 100 representatives of research and higher education institutions participating. Participants actively shared practical experiences, challenges, and insights on how to strengthen transparent and trustworthy science communication.
