Research integrity remains important during COVID-19 pandemic

On the 16th of April, the European Network of Research Integrity Offices (ENRIO) released a statement urging the academic community to keep in mind principles of research ethics. ENRIO emphasizes that research integrity remains crucial in the COVID-19 pandemic, given the need for evidence-based research conclusions.

The Office of the Ombudsperson for Academic Ethics and Procedures, in agreement with ENRIO, for the sake of ensuring public welfare, encourages the academic community to adhere to the highest standards of scientific integrity in performing research and publishing its results.
