Key Issues of Academic Ethics Discussed at the ERA Meeting in Brussels

Good discussions, strong commitment, and a shared goal – these are the key insights that Ombudsperson for Academic Ethics and Procedures Dr. Reda Cimmperman brought back from the European Commission-organized European Research Area (ERA) meeting in Brussels, dedicated to ethics and research integrity.

During the meeting, key European initiatives and organizations were presented and discussed, including ENRIO, EUREC, ALLEA, Science Europe, and others actively contributing to strengthening academic ethics and research integrity across Europe.

It is encouraging that the next ERA meeting is planned to take place in Vilnius – a meaningful recognition and an opportunity for Lithuania to further engage in international dialogue in this field.
